Wheelsuckers Podcast: Best of 2017

With their unique brand of humour and banter, the ladies behind the Wheelsuckers podcast have asked the questions many dare not ask and highlighted the lesser-known heroes of women’s cycling. Here's their round-up of the peachiest podcasts from the year

1. One good thing. One bad thing

In this look back on 2017, we chat to previous podcast guests about their highs and lows from the year of women's cycling. Thought-provoking and head-scratching, there's lots of food for thought on what still needs to be done and a call to arms for us to work together to make some changes. Bring it on!

2. Defeat the voice in your head - featuring Juliet Elliott

A great all-rounder intro episode to the Wheelsuckers show, we share the story of how the podcast came to be, we listen to rad pro racer Juliet Elliott and hear more about LBK WaG / Team WaG.

3. Casquette Magazine: Cycling you shall

We just had to recommend this episode because this is where we chat to Casquette Magazine co-founder and editor Danielle Welton. In this edition we ask: why the heck did you start the mag, we speak about numerous inspiring cyclists, saddle sores, #flapmash and much more…

4. Let's talk about cycling and mental health

Working with Sarah Strong - cyclist and mental health charity worker - we curate an evening that focuses on where the two meet. Here, we give you the chance to listen to the LIVE recording of the night at Look mum no hands, which is heavy and full of shared experiences and advice.

5. Ayesha McGowan: A Quick Brown Fox

We were lucky enough to interview American based Ayesha McGowan aka A Quick Brown Fox, who’s on a mission to become the first ever African-American pro female road racer. She’s awesome and so is this podcast chat with her.
